Awesome for a late night wing craving and I absolutely love their onion petals! Have had a few menu items I wasn't thrilled with but overall the experiences here have been good! The waitstaff are always friendly and the food is prepared and served relatively quickly! They just need to come up with a great recipe for Cajun ranch wings and I'll be a lifelong gators fan!!

It's been a while since we've been in but decided it was time today. The service is always awesome, fast, friendly, and the order is always the way we ordered it. Their menu and wing flavors are just so-so but it's close to the office and convenient. Without a doubt it's a pretty decent lunch spot if you want to sit down in a hurry.

Went here for the ufc sat night fights. Service was good. Everyone enjoyed their food. Lots of TVs which is great to watch the fights. Very clean bathrooms and restaurant looks cleaner than the other gator dockside's that I've seen. The bar opens to the outside which allows the smoke to come inside which is gross. They should definitely do something about that. Fix that issue and I would give a higher rating.

Its been about a year since we came here. Now i remembwr why.....Got the Egg "Roll" only one for 5.99. WOW. Tasted really good but for 5.99 they should serve two!! Philli Cheese Steak is awsome and so are the baby backs and chicken were warm to cool. Food needs to be "Hot" when it comes to the table. The potato salad is horiable too much mayo and a weird taste and so is the coleslaw, it had an extremely sour taste. Mac and Cheese is dry......Tasted old.....it's average at best.

A great little sports bar. We stopped in here to watch the UC bowl game while on vacation. Lots of TVs to watch the game on and decent beer specials for a Saturday afternoon. The boneless wings were pretty good but the chipotle honey BBQ sauce was excellent. Just the right amount of sweet and spicy.

So I've been coming here at least once a week since they've opened. Let's just say it's been a new experience every single time. I still really like the chicken wings. I think I've had about every flavor they offer, including the hottest, three pepper suicide. It's comparable to a level 4 out of five on a spiciness scale (mild, medium, hot, extra hot, extra extra hot) and by far my favorite. They offer the wings in three different styles: Naked, grilled, or breaded. The secret here is to get the grilled wings, then ask them to retoss them in the sauce after they come off the grill. Seriously, I don't know anywhere else that does this, and it's so good. The reason I'm giving this place 3/5 is the service. Some nights, life after my first review, are great. Some nights, it's the most disorganized restaurant I've ever been in. It seems like there are no clear sections that server's work in. This isn't good for the customer and certainly not the server. The new business jitters should be worked out by now. It's time to tighten up.

Not bad for day 2 of their soft opening. Gator's is just what Fruit Cove needed. It's a much better version of any Miller's Alehouse (I don't like Alehouse to begin with) and you don't have to drive into Mandarin for it. It's definitely going to give the other local favorite, Hurricane Wings, a run in the competition. This place has tons of TVs; anywhere you look you could be watching 6 games at once. Some of the servers are young and inexperienced but you have to be patient! They're all sweet and getting their bearings going. This place has food and drink specials every day, a large square bar with seats at all 4 sides with a bunch of high tops and booths from you to choose from and lastly, a huge outdoor patio with plenty of tables and perfect view of any TV with a sports game on! If you're in the Fruit Cove area, go check out Gator's and welcome them to the neighborhood!

The drinks here are way below average. I frequent the bar here only because it's close and the prices aren't that high. But the bartenders need to step up their game. The best thing are the wings (bone in/breaded). I would have to say that there wings are great. Other than that the service is usually awesome and the places vibe is great. There are way to many TVs in the restaurant though. It's hard to find a guy that says that but everywhere you look there's a tv.

Great place for family and friends. Plenty of tv's for game day. The wings are always great and plenty of flavor choices. Beers cold. Definitely recommend going here for great food and beer.

Didn't get silverware for salads. Had to ask... Got the Mac bacon burger, bacon non existent ... Probably won't go back...

I have been eating at this gators for the past 6months now and service has really started to improve! I have had An amazing experience every time I have eaten there! My favorite wings are the scooter wings grilled! Most wing places don't grill the wings but they will here if you request it! I've been served by Michael many times who is an amazing server. He is quick on his feet and is very attentive. I request him everytime. The bar tender Lauren Is also very fun to be served by. It's a nice hangout spot and an awesome place to grab some wings and some beer!

Good for bar food but it's still bar food. If you like noisy, 50 TVs and fried everything then this is a good place. Great for kids and there's a lot there!!!

Poor, slow service. Tv's with The same games on are in HD and non HD so they are out of sync. The techno music is aggravating. The dirty plate still on the table an hour later is pathetic.

Went again last Sunday after a few months and the service has greatly improved. We ordered the appetizer sampler which was very tasty. We ordered a side of fries that didn't come out with the main meal but the server put a rush on them and they came out immediately after that. They seem to have worked out the kinks and we look forward to another visit and the boneless wings.

Awesome new place!! Love there burgers and onion petals. Great service and love how everywhere you look there are TV's. Great for Sunday football. I wish the one on Baymeadowd looked like this. I will be back!

This is a great place with awesome food, but this review is mostly in praise of the wonderful experience I had today. My family went to this Gator's to celebrate my mom's bday. I called in ahead of time with a special request, and the manager, Tim, was so accommodating, gracious, and just all around nice about it. I really appreciated his help, and how he went out of his way to make my mom's bday special. That kind of customer service is rare and really goes a long way. I don't live in the area, but I hope I get a chance to go there again soon. Thanks so much, Tim!! You're the best!
